Speculations and rumors are among some of the favorite pastimes for WWE fans worldwide. Fans from all over the world enjoy discussing and debating various aspects of the world of pro wrestling. In the aftermath of WrestleMania 41, the rumor mill continues to run in full force.
In today’s edition of the roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including Hulk Hogan’s death; Seth Rollins’ SummerSlam rematch; plans for Stephanie Vaquer and more.
Hulk Hogan’s death
According to TC at WrestleVotes, WWE departments were told to halt their current projects and focus on Hulk Hogan-related tasks. The report adds that fans can expect a heavy social media presence dedicated to Hogan this week.
WOR’s Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez revealed that two days before Hulk Hogan’s death, they were informed his condition was “‘not as bad as [Bubba the Love Sponge] said, but it’s bad,’” and then, out of nowhere, he passed away.
According to TMZ, Hogan’s relationship with his daughter Brooke became strained “in his final years.” Sources revealed their last conversation occurred two weeks before Hogan married Sky Daily in September 2023.
During that talk, Brooke expressed concern, telling him she didn’t believe he should continue working so hard given his declining health. However, Hulk “didn’t want to hear” her advice to “slow down and enjoy life.”
Furthermore, Fightful Select reported that before Hogan’s death, there were no creative plans for him to return to WWE programming. Hogan’s last WWE appearance came during the Raw Netflix debut in January.
Seth Rollins’ SummerSlam rematch
According to a report from Bodyslam.net, Seth Rollins was originally set to defeat LA Knight at the July 12 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, but an audible call was made after the injury in the match.
The report adds that the plan was for Knight to win the rematch at SummerSlam. It’s now unclear if Creative will pivot to something new for Knight.
Rollins suffered a freak injury during his singles match against LA Knight at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The Visionary tweaked his knee during a spot when he was going for a moonsault from the ropes; due to the injury, an audible call was made during the match.
Plans for Stephanie Vaquer & Goldberg

WrestleVotes Radio reports that the promotion has big plans for Stephanie Vaquer, with multiple ideas for character enhancements already being considered. Her post-match interview with Stephanie McMahon at WWE Evolution 2 was strategically done to establish Vaquer as a prominent star in the future.
Vaquer was interviewed by Stephanie McMahon following her win in the 20-woman battle royal, which now grants her a title shot at Clash in Paris.
AEW sources informed WrestleVotes that there is currently no direct communication between Goldberg and AEW. It’s believed he remains under contract with WWE, and as long as that’s the case, AEW won’t be in touch with him. Additionally, these sources expressed doubt that AEW would pursue Goldberg even after his WWE contract expires.
What injury did Seth Rollins sustain at SNME?
Seth Rollins sustained a knee injury during his match against LA Knight on July 12. The injury occurred after a moonsault attempt, and the finish was changed on the fly as a result.
When did Hulk Hogan pass away?
Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71 in Clearwater, Florida. His death was attributed to cardiac arrest.
