Cody Rhodes’ role in Happy Gilmore 2 & WWE Draft

According to Fightful Select, Cody Rhodes was approached for a role in Happy Gilmore 2, but scheduling conflicts ultimately prevented him from taking the part.

PW Insider has reported that they have not “heard a word” recently about the next WWE Draft. The 2024 Draft took place at the end of April.

Drew McIntyre’s passport issues

According to TC at WrestleVotes, wheels are in motion for alternative plans in case Drew McIntyre is unable to appear on SmackDown this Friday. What that means for SummerSlam remains unclear. McIntyre is set to team up with Logan Paul to battle the team of Randy Orton and Jelly Roll at SummerSlam.

Drew McIntyre is in danger of missing SummerSlam 2025 due to a bizarre travel hiccup. The Scottish Warrior revealed on social media that he was denied entry onto his flight to the U.S., citing identification issues that prevented him from returning stateside for the massive event.

WWE: Unreal

During a conversation with Jimmy Weaver V3, Chris Weaver revealed that even WWE’s internal staff were shocked at how much Netflix was allowed to capture for the docuseries. Waever is the director of the newly released docuseries, WWE: Unreal on Netflix.

According to Fightful Select, insiders are reportedly ‘extremely happy’ with the buzz and attention the docuseries is generating. The docuseries was released on Netflix on July 29, 2025.

Tony Hinchcliffe

According to a recent report from Fightful Select, the Stamford-based promotion remains open to collaborating with comedian Tony Hinchcliffe in the future, even after the cancellation of the Late Night comedy show originally planned for SummerSlam weekend.

According to an earlier report from PWInsider, the promotion cancelled the “Late Night” special, with one source connected to the venue noting that ticket sales were “light.”
