In today’s edition of the rumor roundup, we cover the latest rumors and news circulating among fans on social media, including Paul Heyman backing Aleister Black, MITB plans for Travis Scott, plans for Nikki Bella at Evolution, Corey Graves calling main roster shows, and more.
Paul Heyman backing Aleister Black
According to WrestleBinge, aul Heyman has been a strong advocate for Aleister Black lately, and the creative team views him as “a player” in his current run with the company. Several people within the creative team are pushing for a major run for him.
Heyman has been a major advocate for Black throughout his career, and Aleister himself has revealed the Hall of Famer has always been in his corner.
MITB plans for Travis Scott
During a recent Q&A show on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, WrestleVotes noted that WWE had major plans for Travis Scott to appear at this year’s Money in the Bank. Tons of merch were already made with his logo, the event branding, and the date.
The report adds that plans changed due to the drama surrounding R-Truth’s exit, which caused a creative shake-up for the Money in the Bank PLE.
The 2025 edition of MITB emanated on June 7 from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The main event of the PLE saw Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeat the team of John Cena and Logan Paul.
Plans for Nikki Bella at Evolution
As per The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE still has plans for Nikki Bella at Evolution 2, despite her not appearing on Raw since her return segment with Liv Morgan in early June. Bella was present in the building the following week for a follow-up angle, but it was scrapped due to Liv Morgan’s injury.
Liv Morgan suffered an injury last month on Monday Night Raw in the opening moments of her singles clash with Kairi Sane.
WWE Evolution 2025 is scheduled for Sunday, July 13, 2025. The event will be held at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. This will mark the return of the all-women’s Premium Live Event after nearly eight years.
Corey Graves calling main roster shows
According to WrestleVotes, there’s “a strong contingency” within WWE pushing for Corey Graves to be part of a main roster show, regardless of Pat McAfee’s availability. While they “understand the value that McAfee brings to the company,” they believe Graves is “way too good and way too passionate” to remain in NXT full-time.
Graves could potentially join McAfee and Michael Cole on Raw, but Votes “can’t confirm as of this moment if WWE has any interest in bringing back the old three-man booths for TV or not.”
Update on Zoey Stark & Isla Dawn
Zoey Stark in a recent X (Twitter) post, indicated that she might be able to return to the ring in about eight months. Stark suffered a horrific knee injury during the May 19 episode of Monday Night RAW. Stark was competing in a high-stakes Triple Threat Money in the Bank Qualifying Match against Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, former WWE Women’s Tag Champion Isla Dawn was seen backstage at a recent AEW event and is expected to join the company in the near future. Dawn was released from WWE in February, ending her seven-year tenure with the promotion.
