4. Baron Corbin retains
Baron Corbin is set to defend his WWE United States title against Carmelo Hayes tonight, who brawled with him last on SmackDown.
Despite Carmelo being back on television, a possible scenario could see Corbin not losing the title in his first defense on the blue brand tonight.
3. The Tongans become new tag champions
A triple threat tag team match has been announced with R-Truth and Damian Priest defending their WWE Tag Team titles against the MFTs and War Raiders.
With Haku by their side and both gaining momentum, it is likely that Tama and Talla Tonga will become new champions on SmackDown tonight.

Fatal Influence leader Jacy Jayne will challenge Tiffany Stratton for her WWE Women’s United States Championship tonight.
It is expected that Jayne’s cohorts, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reed, will run interference, and the numbers game could see Stratton lose her gold in the process.

‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes is out seeking retribution after Randy Orton returned and cost him the Undisputed WWE title at SummerSlam 2026.
Both superstars will be in the building tonight for SmackDown, and a brawl is likely to break out between the bitter rivals to further intensify their feud.
