We will find out this week who will be going to the finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournament

This week’s WWE SmackDown is an important stepping stone toward the highly anticipated 2024 WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE. That night, the finals for both tournaments will be decided, and just 24 hours later, a new King and Queen will rise to their thrones in WWE.

But first and foremost, WWE Friday Night SmackDown aims to deliver in a variety of ways. Without further ado, here’s a sneak peek at WWE SmackDown’s King and Queen of the Ring “go-home” episode. Let’s run through it.

WWE Smackdown (May 24, 2024): Match Card

  • King of the Ring – Semifinals: Tama Tonga vs Randy Orton
  • Queen of the Ring – Semifinals: Bianca Belair vs Nia Jax
  • The Street Profits vs Tonga Loa & Solo Sikoa
  • Bayley vs Chelsea Green
  • AJ Styles Confronts SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis

King of the Ring – Tama Tonga vs Randy Orton

On the upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown, The Bloodline is set to dominate the scene. Tama Tonga faces a pivotal match with the chance to advance to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament. Not only that, but he will also be up against the legendary Randy Orton, making this a significant opportunity to cement his status.

Queen of the Ring – Bianca Belair vs Nia Jax

On the latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, former NXT Women’s Champion and recent draftee Lyra Valkyria secured her spot in the finals by defeating IYO SKY in an intense match where both competitors gave it their all.

This Friday night, the SmackDown semifinals will determine who will face Valkyria in the finals as two of WWE’s most formidable competitors clash: Nia Jax and Bianca Belair. Both women bring unparalleled strength and impressive resumes, making this match unpredictable. Expect a classic battle between the “unstoppable force” and the “immovable object.”

The Street Profits vs Tonga Loa & Solo Sikoa

The Bloodline’s rule in the new era has been nothing short of catastrophic. Just when the WWE Universe believed Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga were at the zenith of supremacy, Tonga Loa entered the picture, strengthening the grasp of this already strong faction.

Sikoa and Tonga are trying to set an example for The Street Profits on Friday night fight night. This week’s show promises to be entertaining. We have Tonga Loa’s debut, and we learn who will fight in the final contests to become WWE’s King and Queen of the Ring! Watch it all on Fox on Friday night!

Bayley vs Chelsea Green

Following a brief backstage confrontation, Bayley silenced Chelsea Green by challenging her to a match, which SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis promptly made official.

This will be the first time these two Superstars face off one-on-one. Bayley is eager to prove herself as a fighting champion, while Green, newly drafted to SmackDown along with her partner Piper Niven in the 2024 WWE Draft, is looking to establish her presence on the brand.
