WWE SmackDown sets the stage for MITB tonight.
WWE SmackDown tonight will set the stage for Money in the Bank 2026, which will emanate from New Orleans this weekend. The October 9 edition will air live from the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana, at 8 PM ET.
‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk is confirmed for the show, marking his return after being absent from last week’s show. Punk has only made one appearance after losing the Undisputed title, attacking Kevin Owens and costing him the title match against Sami Zayn.
Now fans are waiting to see what transpires in his return tonight. Also set for tonight is a WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles match, where Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid will defend the titles against the team of Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley.
Additionally, the participants set to compete in both the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank matches will appear on SmackDown tonight.
The men’s field consists of Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta, CM Punk and Kevin Owens. On the women’s side, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton will compete for the briefcase.
All of these stars will appear tonight as fans will get a final preview of the two ladder matches on the Blue Brand, before the attention shifts to New Orleans.
