Five WWE stars who can help Danhausen at Saturday Night's Main Event July 2026 against JD McDongh & The Judgement Day

The fan-favorite could use some backup against Judgment Day’s numbers game at MSG.
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event returns to Madison Square Garden on July 18, and one of the most intriguing matches on the card sees Danhausen collide with Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh in a No Disqualification bout.
Given the stipulation and the fact that McDonagh has the full weight of Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez) behind him, the numbers game could easily tilt against the cult favorite unless he gets some outside help.
Danhausen’s issues with the group began after he cursed Oba Femi for a fee, only for Judgment Day to stiff him on the payment. He retaliated by cursing Liv Morgan ahead of the Queen of the Ring finals, prompting the group to trash his lab and steal his prized New York Knicks jersey.
With tempers boiling over into a no-rules match, here are five stars who could show up to even the odds for Danhausen at WWE SNME.
5. Sol Ruca
The reigning WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion has her own history of run-ins with Judgment Day’s orbit and has increasingly been positioned as a thorn in the group’s side alongside Iyo Sky.
With Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez almost certain to lurk at ringside for McDonagh, Ruca showing up to neutralize the numbers disadvantage would fit the story WWE has been building.
4. Iyo Sky
Iyo Sky has repeatedly found herself at odds with Judgment Day’s female contingent, particularly reigning Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
A surprise appearance from Sky to keep Morgan and company honest would give Danhausen the breathing room he needs against McDonagh, while also continuing her own simmering issues with the group heading toward SummerSlam.
3. Stephanie Vaquer
Vaquer has been out of action since late April after being ambushed backstage by Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, and she has real motivation to get even with the group.
Reports currently peg her actual in-ring return closer to SummerSlam rather than SNME, so this one is more of a long shot, but a surprise run-in at MSG to disrupt her old attackers would tie neatly into Danhausen’s match if WWE wanted to move her timeline up.
2. Matt Cardona
Matt Cardona has already proven to be a reliable ally for Danhausen, having teamed with him to defeat Los Garzas earlier this year.
With a genuine in-ring alliance already established, Cardona showing up at MSG to have Danhausen’s back against a Judgment Day ambush would be a natural payoff to that storyline thread.
1. Jalen Brunson
The New York Knicks star is already confirmed to be at the ringside at MSG as World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns’ special guest.
Given Danhausen’s own well-documented history with the Knicks, including the custom jersey Judgment Day stole and destroyed, a chaotic moment involving Brunson getting pulled into the action wouldn’t be out of the question on a night the Knicks legend is already in the building.
