WWE SummerSlam 2025 will be the first two-night event.

WWE has approached the finish line for the first-ever two-night SummerSlam event taking place this year. It will emanate from MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 2nd and 3rd.

Top stars like John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and many others have been announced for blockbuster WWE matches. Moreover, Cardi B will be overseeing the festivities as the official host. So here are Khelnow’s predictions for both nights of The Biggest Party of the Summer.

12. Six-Pack TLC Match

The six-pack TLC match will be contested for the WWE Tag Team titles currently held by The Wyatt Sicks. Among the stacked field set to compete, the rising team of Andrade and Rey Fenix has been impressing the audience in recent weeks and is looking to win the titles in a match sure to be a blockbuster.

Predicted Winner: Andrade and Rey Fenix

11. Naomi vs Rhea Ripley vs Iyo Sky

Naomi has been riding the wave of momentum for months now. It is unlikely that she will drop the title to either IYO Sky or Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam and is expected to have a lengthy and dominant title reign.

Predicted Winner: Naomi

10. Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill

The Storm of WWE is looking to decimate and end Tiffy Time at SummerSlam. With a huge victory in the Queen of the Ring tournament and perceived as a future megastar, the time for Jade Cargill to become WWE Women’s champion is likely to come at SummerSlam.

Predicted Winner: Jade Cargill

9. Randy Orton & Jelly Roll vs Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul

Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre‘s momentum looks to be far ahead of Randy Orton and Jelly Roll as a team. Therefore, when SummerSlam comes around, the win is expected to go to the Maverick and the Scottish Warrior.

Predicted Winner: Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre

8. Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez vs Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss

With Judgment Day having all the gold, it is unlikely that Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez will drop their tag team titles right now. Plus, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss’ camaraderie needs more work before they can clinch a piece of championship gold.

Predicted Winner: Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez

7. Sami Zayn vs Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross’ WWE contract is coming up with no signs of an extension at the moment. SummerSlam could be his final match to be written off television with a defeat at the hands of Sami Zayn and make a potential exit from WWE.

Predicted Winner: Sami Zayn

6. Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed

The young guns, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, are likely to be pushed as top stars in the future. With Seth Rollins out of the picture, SummerSlam could be their spotlight to defeat two established stars, like Roman Reigns and Jey Uso, and score a major win in their career so far.

Predicted Winner: Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed

5. Dominik Mysterio vs AJ Styles

Dominik Mysterio has been dodging AJ Styles for a while, but he will have no escape at WWE SummerSlam. However, he might possibly enlist the help of his Judgment Day cohorts to somehow score the victory over the Phenomenal One and retain the Intercontinental title.

Predicted Winner: Dominik Mysterio

4. Solo Sikoa vs Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu’s rising popularity and captivating presence have overshadowed Solo Sikoa every step in WWE. Therefore, it is likely that he would overcome the MFT’s presence and dethrone Sikoa to regain the US title at SummerSlam.

Predicted Winner: Jacob Fatu

3. Becky Lynch vs Lyra Valkyria

The rubber match between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria will take place at SummerSlam for the WWE Intercontinental title. With Valkyria positioned to be the future of the women’s division, it is likely that she will dethrone Lynch for the title and win it back to add a significant win to her career.

Predicted Winner: Lyra Valkyria

2. Gunther vs CM Punk

CM Punk will finally have his chance to win the World Heavyweight Championship against reigning champion Gunther.

The Best in the World has been clear since returning to WWE in 2023 that his goal is to become World Champion again, and his big moment can finally come at SummerSlam, which would also bring major attention to the title.

Predicted Winner: CM Punk

1. John Cena vs Cody Rhodes

John Cena will defend his Undisputed WWE title against Cody Rhodes in a rematch from WrestleMania 41. However, this time, it will be a Street Fight. It can be said that both Cena and Rhodes will decimate each other, considering their heated rivalry.

However, as Cena is expected to remain champion till the end of his farewell tour, SummerSlam might not be the place where Rhodes regains his World title.

Predicted Winner: John Cena

When and where will SummerSlam 2025 take place?

WWE SummerSlam is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2025, at MetLife Stadium.

Who will headline the 2025 edition of the PLE?

The Heavyweight title clash between Gunther and CM Punk will headline the first night of the show, while John Cena vs Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed title will headline the second night.
