Neeraj Chopra last won the Diamond League Final in 2022.

For a third consecutive season, Neeraj Chopra will return with a runner-up finish from the Diamond League Final meet. The two-time Olympic medallist and former Diamond League champion came second to Julian Weber in the men’s javelin throw final on Thursday night in Zurich.

The Diamond League Final 2025, which was the culmination of the Diamond League season, took place on August 27 & 28 at the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich, Switzerland. A total of 33 Diamond League champions (16 in women’s division and 17 in men’s) were crowned in the two-day meet.

Courtesy, of his second-place finish in the event, Neeraj—who lifted the Diamond League title in 2022—also extended his near-unbelievable streak of securing a top two finish in all competitions that he has participated in, to 26 tournaments.

The last time the 27-year-old ended outside the top-two in any event was way back in 2021 at the Kuortane Games in Finland, where he came third.
