The competition has been held annually since 1986 until 2019, with the current edition set to commence on September 5 at the Changzhou Olympic Sports Centre Xincheng Gymnasium in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China.

The Asian Championships 2023 silver medalist will be leading the Singaporean contingent and would want to go deep in order to gain valuable points in the Olympic qualification cycle.
