The Hong Kong Open 2023 represents the 22nd edition of the BWF (Badminton World Federation) World Tour this season. This tournament holds the Super 500 classification and will take place at the Hong Kong Coliseum in Hong Kong, running from September 12 to September 17, 2023. It boasts a prize pool of $420,000.
Indonesia has a total of 17 titles to its name and has been a strong prowess in the competition. Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo are the last Indonesians to have etched the title in men’s doubles section.
The pair of Fajar Alifan and Muhammad Rian Ardianto would like to get their form back after back-to-back opening round exits. Rhustavito is coming back after injury and would like to reach the main draw and dig deep. Jonathan Christie has moved up to WR-6 and would like to maintain form prior ahead of the the Asian Games.
