Syed Modi International 2025: Schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

The is the last tournament on the calendar, before the BWF World Tour Finals.
After 11 months of non-stop exhilarating action, it is time to draw a close to the BWF Tour season, with the Syed Modi International 2025 set to be played out from 25th November to 30th November.
A Super 300 event, it has a prize pool of USD 240,000. This will be the 14th edition of the competition, and it is set to take place at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium in Lucknow.
The fatigue of a long season is clearly visible. With not much at stake in terms of points and prize money, almost all the top names have decided to give the tournament a miss.
In fact, Jason Teh in Men’s Singles and Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand in women’s doubles are the only participants in the top 20 of the BWF Rankings.
Singapore’s Jason Teh is set to be challenged by five Indians placed right below him in the list of seedings. Defending champion Lakshya Sen, who clinched the Australian Open on Sunday, will be a notable absentee.
Rising star Ayush Shetty and veterans HS Prannoy and Kidambi Srikanth will be looking to give the home crowd reason to cheer.
The women’s singles draw is spearheaded by another promising name in the form of Unnati Hooda, followed by Rio Olympics 2016 bronze medallist Nozomi Okuhara. Rakshitha Ramraj and Anupama Upadhyaya too are present among the top eight seeds.
The ace pairing of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have decided to give the tournament a miss. Malaysians Choong Hon Jian/Muhammad Haikal are the top seeds, with Pruthvi Roy/K. Sai Pratheek being placed second.
Treesa and Gayatri will look to find some rhythm after spending a long time on the sidelines due to an injury. Meanwhile, the first seeds in the mixed doubles category- Terry Hee/Jin Yu Jia, are followed by an Indian duo too, in the form of Rohan Kapoor/Ruthvika Gadde.
