You can't miss Virender Sehwag's tweet for Virat Kohli after India's win over Australia in CWC 2023 opener

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul hit half-centuries in the chase as India kick-start their CWC 2023 campaign with a win.
Former India opener Virender Sehwag lauded Virat Kohli's match-winning knock against Australia in his typical witty manner on Twitter. Kohli, along with KL Rahul stitched a crucial 165-run stand, chasing 200 after India were reduced to 2/3 in the second over. Kohli scored a scintillating 85 (116) while Rahul remained unbeaten on 97* (115).
Sehwag took to X (Formerly twitter) to laud Kohli's efforts. He tweeted, "Jahan Matter Bade hote hain, Wahan King Kohli Khade hote hain. Class innings." It was arguably one of Kohli's slowest fifties, but the experienced campaigner ensured that Australia don't get a sniff in. Kohli shattered many records during the course of his innings. The 34-year-old surpassed Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar to score the most number of runs for the country in ICC events, including the ICC Champions Trophy, the ICC T20 World Cup and the 50-over World Cup.
Virat Kohli stars in a chase yet again for India
However, Kohli got a life early in the chase. India nearly suffered another blow as Kohli miscued a hook off Josh Hazelwood's bouncer. Mitchell Marsh ran in from mid-wicket but possibly got distracted by wicket-keeper Alex Carry, who too went for the catch. Marsh dropped the catch while Kohli made amends of the dropped catch.
Sehwag has always been vocal when it comes to praising Kohli's brilliance. He had earlier stated that he wishes to see Kohli score hundreds in the ongoing World Cup. The former dashing opener also expressed his wish of seeing Kohli as the leading run-getter of the flagship event.
India were right on the money after Australian skipper Pat Cummins called the toss right and elected to bat. Indian spinners called the shots. Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav kept the Australian batters under the shackles as the visitors crumbled under pressure. The duo shared five wickets amongst themselves as Australia were in hot waters before Mitchell Starc played a crucial cameo. Jasprit Bumrah, who made a comeback earlier this year, found his mojo as he bagged a couple of wickets in his quota of 10 overs.
