IPL 2026: Full squad of Rajasthan Royals after mini-auction ft. Ravindra Jadeja, Ravi Bishnoi

Rajasthan Royals signed Ravi Bishnoi as their most expensive player at the IPL 2026 auction.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) walked into the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 mini-auction with a total purse of INR 16.05 crore. After making significant releases of Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana ahead of the auction, they had a few pivotal gaps to fill.

The first thing RR did was to sign Ravi Bishnoi as Jadeja’s spin partner. Bishnoi has played 42 T20 internationals for India, bagging 61 wickets with his best figures being 4/13. In his IPL career, the 25-year-old has taken 72 wickets in 77 total matches, representing Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the previous editions.

Later, they focused on signing uncapped young Indian players. In their hunt to find a middle-order batsman, the RR made a few additions to the line-up, which already seems strong.

While Sushant Mishra, Yash Raj Punja, and Vignesh Puthur are valuable additions to the bowling department of the team, especially in spin, Ravi Singh is set to help the team in the batting as well as the wicketkeeping areas. Aman Rao is also expected to be a valuable addition to the side if he gets the chance to play.

With a limited budget, the inaugural edition champions did a great job in adding young firepower to the team, which already had experience. The first overseas player bought by the RR in the mini-auction was right-arm fast bowler Adam Milne.

They concluded the adventures of the 2026 auction by signing Kuldeep Sen. The 29-year-old has played in the IPL from 2022 to 2024 for the Royals, taking 14 wickets in 12 matches.

Meanwhile, the captaincy candidates for the 2026 IPL season for RR are Riyan Parag, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ravindra Jadeja.
