Hardik Pandya is undergoing rehabilitation for his quadriceps injury at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya is expected to make his comeback to Indian Cricket Team in the white-ball series against South Africa Cricket Team next month, as per the reports by the Times of India. Pandya is undergoing rehabilitation for his left quadriceps injury, which he sustained during Asia Cup 2025 last month.
During the Super Four clash against Sri Lanka in the tournament, Pandya sustained an injury in his left quadriceps. He could only bowl one over and left the field midway and then also missed the final against Pakistan on September 28 in Dubai, which India won by five wickets.
Moreover, Pandya was also unavailable for the ongoing India’s tour of Australia 2025 due to his injury. Earlier, it was reported that Pandya will not need any surgery for his injury but will undergo a month-long rehabilitation at the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru.
Hardik Pandya to return during the ODI series against South Africa- Reports

A BCCI source, while speaking to TOI, revealed that the 32-year-old checked in at the BCCI facility on October 21 and will undergo rehabilitation for a month. He also said that the Pandya is expected to be back during the ODI series against South Africa in November.
“After a holiday break, Hardik reported to the ’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru on October 21. He will be at the CoE for a month. He has started his gym sessions and should be back in action during the white-ball series against South Africa at some point,” the BCCI source said.
Meanwhile, Indian Cricket Team is currently busy with the T20I series against Australia, which will conclude on November 8. Their next campaign is a multi-format series against South Africa at home, which will commence on November 14 with a two-match test series.
Following the test series, both sides will lock horns in three ODIs starting November 30, and Pandya is likely to be back in the series. Later, a five-match T20I series will take place from December 9 to 19.
