The second IND vs AUS T20I will be played on October 31 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne.
Australia Cricket Team and Indian Cricket Team will collide in the second T20I on Friday, October 31 at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium, Melbourne. After a washout in the opening game, both sides will look for a fresh start in the five-match series.
The first game, which took place at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, could only witness about 10 overs in the first innings before rain washed out the game. Australia captain Mitchell Marsh won the toss and opted to bowl first in the encounter, winning the toss for the fourth consecutive time in the home series against India.
For India, openers Abhishek Sharma (19) and Shubman Gill (37*) provided India with a quick start, adding 35 runs in 3.5 overs. However, Abhishek could not hold his ground for long, losing his wicket to Nathan Ellis in the fourth over.

After his dismissal, Suryakumar Yadav (39*) and Gill followed up on the quick start, adding 97/1 in 9.4 overs before the game was halted due to rain. The encounter was hampered by rain from the start and was called off by the umpires eventually, ending without a result.
The Suryakumar Yadav & Co. picked a combination of five full-time batters in the opening game, and went ahead with all-rounders in Shivam Dube and Axar Patel to strengthen their batting depth. Spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy were both picked in the playing XI, while Jasprit Bumrah and Harshit Rana were the two frontline pacers.
In the second game, the Men in Blue are expected to retain the same playing XI. Ahead of the opening game, they faced a big blow as all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy was ruled out of the first three T20Is due to a quadriceps injury. On the other hand, Mitchell Marsh and Co. are awaiting for the return of star batter Glenn Maxwell, who will join the squad from the third game.
