IPL 2025: List of all players retained and released by LSG

LSG have parted ways with KL Rahul ahead of IPL 2025.
Despite fighting till the end, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) finished seventh in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 table.
The Lucknow-based franchise had a tough season last year with the team failing to reach the playoffs for the first time in their brief history of the tournament. Batting was a cause of concern with the top order not scoring runs at the required pace. Nicholas Pooran was the only bright light in the LSG batting lineup, finishing the season with 499 runs at an impressive strike rate of 178.
The franchise has decided to let go of their skipper KL Rahul before the IPL 2025 mega auction. Rahul was criticised last year for his low strike rate.
This year Lucknow have decided to retain five players before the mega auction. The franchise have retained the likes of Nicholas Pooran, Ravi Bishnoi, Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan and Ayush Badoni.
