The Indian Cricket Team are all set to make a massive change in their XI for the fourth test of the series against the England Cricket Team. As per the reports in Express Sports, it is learned that Kuldeep Yadav is all set to play the game, which will take place at the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester from 23rd July.
The Indian Cricket Team have come under the massive pump ahead of the fourth test. They are mulling over the fitness of quite a few players, and this surely puts them on the back foot, especially with them being 2-1 down and the series on the line.
As per various media reports, Rishabh Pant, who faced a finger injury in the last game, is unlikely to keep wickets in the fourth test as he is still unfit. Pacers in Akash Deep (back injury) and Arshdeep Singh (hand injury) have been ruled out of the Manchester test.
Nitish Kumar Reddy’s injury paves the way for Kuldeep Yadav in Indian XI – reports

To make things worse, Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the entire series. He reportedly suffered a knee injury during the gym session and will be unable to participate in either of the two remaining games.
With some of the key players getting injured, this leaves Indian management in a lot of tension. Amid all this, there’s a space vacant for Kuldeep Yadav, and he is all set to be included in the XI for the virtual series decider.
Ever since the England tour began, there has been a lot of talk about the inclusion of Kuldeep Yadav in the XI. The wrist spinner didn’t feature in the first three games, and the management received a lot of criticism for the same.
Kuldeep Yadav last played in tests in Bengaluru last October, where he took three wickets in the first innings and remained wicketless in the second. He has performed reasonably well in the longest format of the game and will hold the key for India in Manchester if he plays.
Overall, Kuldeep Yadav has played 13 tests for India, having made his debut in March 2017 in Dharamsala. The wrist spinner has picked 56 wickets at an average of 22.16, which in itself reveals the kind of impact that he has made.
Yadav has played just one game in England so far. This came back in 2018 when he played the Lord’s test on a lush green surface. Overall, against England, he has picked 21 wickets in six matches at an average of 22.28.
