100 crores to Gujarat Titans for Hardik Pandya’s trade
Gujarat Titans have had two successful Indian Premier League seasons since their debut in 2022. Gujarat won IPL 2022 where they defeated Rajasthan Royals in the finals while they missed out on a successive title narrowly in IPL 2023 finals against Chennai Super Kings. Everyone credited Hardik Pandya for his leadership skills in making Gujarat a dominant force in IPL setup.
CVC Capitals owns Gujarat Titans who paid 5625 crores INR to be part of Indian Premier League for next 10 years. CVS Capitals will show big gain in their balance sheet at the end of the current financial year, all thanks to Hardik Pandya’s trade deal. Titans were reportedly not happy with Hardik Pandya and Mumbai Indians, as the franchise demanded strict rules on teams directly approaching players.
Mumbai Indians announced Hardik Pandya as the new leader of their camp. Hardik Pandya will replace Rohit Sharma as MI skipper. Hardik Pandya’s entry was not taken well into MI camp as Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav came out with a few cryptic social media posts indirectly targeting Hardik Pandya.
