Mustafizur Rahman’s juggling act at the boundary line got rid of dangerous Suryakumar Yadav.

The high-voltage Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 clash between arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) witnessed a stunning display of fielding as Super Kings fielder Mustafizur Rahman took an incredible catch at the Wankhede Stadium on April 14.

After CSK smashed a big total of 206/4 runs in 20 overs, in reply, MI openers Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma registered a stunning opening 70-run partnership. However, with the visitors needing a desperate wicket, skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad brought their ace pacer Matheesha Pathirana into the attack in the eight over.

However, in the second ball of the over, Pathirana removed Kishan for 23 runs. On the third ball of the over impact sub player Suryakumar Yadav tried to played play an upper cut but hit it flat towards the Mustafizur, who was standing at third man.

In a brilliant display of fielding, Mustafizur moved towards his left and took the catch while he was losing the balance on the boundary line. However, Rahman showed his presence of mind and threw the ball up in the air and he went over the ropes. Then he returned inside the boundary line to complete the mind-blowing catch.

Soon after the catch, Suryakumar looked stunned as Rohit was seen in disbelief with all the CSK fielders celebrating the big wicket of SKY. MI’s No. 3 departed for a two-ball duck.
