"Ekdum Bakwas.." Suryakumar Yadav quashes rumours of switching from Mumbai to Goa state team

Star Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav has dismissed rumours about him switching from Mumbai to Goa state team in Indian domestic cricket. Yadav posted a quirky reply on social media to deny the reports.
Yadav, who is the current T20I skipper of Team India, is part of Mumbai team in Indian domestic cricket. Recently, Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal left Mumbai to join Goa domestic side citing personal reasons. However, it is yet to be announced officially.
Suryakumar Yadav quashes rumours of switching domestic team from Mumbai to Goa
After reports of Yashasvi Jaiswal’s switch from Mumbai to Goa emerged, a report started doing rounds on social media that Suryakumar will also follow the path of Jaiswal and switch from Mumbai to Goa before the next season.
However, the Indian T20I captain took it to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter) to quash to reports. Yadav shared a photo of the report and trolled the journalist who wrote the story.
“Script writer hai ya journalist? Agar hasna hai toh I will stop watching comedy movies and start reading these articles. Ekdum bakwas,” he posted.
Yadav is currently playing for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Yadav has scored most runs for MI (103) so far in three innings in IPL 2025.
