Virat Kohli makes revelation on fans comparing him with the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar.

Modern-day great Virat Kohli has always been rated among the best batters in World Cricket. Virat at a very young age had made a long-lasting impact on everyone’s mind with his batting. After Sachin’s retirement, he has filled the gap of a superstar nicely with his consistent performance. He is in line to break Sachin's record in batting. Virat with 75 international centuries is just 25 away from Sachin’s 100 centuries record. Because of his batting and consistency, he is always rated with the greatest batsman of all time, Sachin Tendulkar. Virat is always aware of this and now he made a revelation that he feels ‘embarrassed’ when he is being compared to Sachin Tendulkar.

Comparison with Stats and other stuff is a bluff in cricket!

Talking about the comparison between him and Sachin, Kohli said, “I feel embarrassed when I am compared to Sachin though I get where these people are coming from with all those statistics and stuff. But these stats tell you a different story. The Impact a player leaves on you as a child growing up is very different. Just laugh it off every time. These people have no idea about the game”. Speaking to Robin Uthappa in Jio Cinema he also added that he was a good and determined player in his career but not a ‘gifted’ one like his fans perceived.

Former RCB Captain Virat Kohli has played for almost 5 years with Sachin Tendulkar. He was part of the 2011 World Cup winning side with legend Sachin Tendulkar. Talking about Sachin, Virat said, “Sachin Tendulkar always has been an emotion for me, if you speak to anyone, they look at him as their own because everyone has faith and trust in him. He was the source of inspiration and comfort, when he scored runs, life was good”. He also added that nobody should be compared with Sachin Tendulkar and Viv Richards. Virat also credited these two players for revolutionizing the game.
