India's tour of West Indies 2023
"Ye kaunsa batting kar raha hai": Watch: Virat Kohli makes fun of West Indies no. 11 Jomel Warrican

India's no. 4 batsman Virat Kohli scored 76 in India's total of 421 runs in the first test at Dominca.
Rohit Sharma and his men ended the first test against the West Indies at Windsor Park with a thumping win to kick off their next World Test Championship campaign with a win. Team India thrashed the hosts in three days and won the game by an innings and 141 runs. The star of the game with the bat was debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal, while Ravi Ashwin spun the web around the West Indian batsmen.
India have now taken an unassailable 1-0 lead in the series. The declaration came as a surprise when Rohit declared their first innings at 421/5, with a big first-innings lead of 271 runs. But the Indian bowlers made it even more difficult for the hosts and bowled them out for just 130 runs in 50.3 overs to clinch the victory.

It was a one-sided game, and India didn't let the West Indies feel good throughout the entire game. They got the upper hand when they dismissed the hosts for just 150 runs in the first innings. Ravi Ashwin took 5/60 in the first innings on his comeback in the playing XI. Then, centuries later, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit sealed the deal to some extent.
The West Indies had an even worse performance in the second innings. They only batted for a session and a half. Ashwin took 7/71 in the second innings to wrap up the match. He dismissed West Indian No. 11 Jomel Warrican to finish the game. Warrican had a short stay on the crease and scored 18 runs, which was the third-highest score in the innings.
But he played some strange shots, which also caught the eye of Virat Kohli, who was surprised by the way Warrican played. At one point, Virat Kohli was also caught on the stump mic saying, "Ye Koun see batting Kar Raha hai."
It happened on the last ball of Ravindra Jadeja's 21st over. Jadeja bowled a full ball, and Warrican played a sweep. The ball caught the edge and went up in the air. But luckily, it dropped in no man's land between the keeper and fielder. Virat Kohli, who was fielding at slip, was caught making fun of the shot the batter played. Meanwhile, this win has given 12 important WTC points to Team India. They will play the second test starting from July 20 (Thursday) in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
