The Nizams earned their fifth consecutive clean sheet of the season.
Jamshedpur FC again paid the price for their inconsistency in the Hyderabad FC game when they faced a heart-breaking 1-0 loss in front of the home fans. The inability to build on the momentum haunted the team. Despite being dominating the whole first half, the Men of Steel seemed to be in hibernation in the other half and woke up when it was too late.
Here are the ratings to check how the Jamshedpur FC and Hyderabad FC players fared in the game for both the teams.
Jamshedpur FC (By JN Balraj)
TP Rehenesh (GK) - 6
The custodian again made a tiny mistake leading to a goal. Apart from that, Rehenesh looked confident but his errors have continuously cost the team.
Laldinliana Renthlei - 6.5
The right-back was unlucky to be substituted for the groin injury. Before that, Dinliana won three ground duels and made as many successful tackles.
Pratik Chaudhari - 7
Pratik was rock solid at the back with five clearances to his name. The defender also blocked three shots and was instrumental with his pace while tracking back.
Peter Hartley - 6
The captain was over-hyped during some instances of the game. Hartley fluffed the clearance that fell to Yasir for the only goal of the match. He made four clearances and two successful tackles.
Ricky Lallawmawma - 6
Ricky put up a decent performance on the defensive left flank in the match. He was quite ineffective in the attacking line but compensated it through his defensive awareness.

Jitendra Singh - 6.5
The youngster had an impressive outing against the midfield comprising Joao Victor. Jitendra made three interceptions and three tackles in the game.
Jay Emmanuel-Thomas - 6.5
The big man had his first start and was commanding in the midfield. JET created two goal-scoring chances in the game. The midfielder also won four ground duels.
Harry Sawyer - 6.5
Harry led the attack with Daniel Chima Chukwu and attempted one shot before being substituted in the second half. Sawyer created three big chances in the game in 25 touches for the team.
Boris Singh - 7.5
Boris had the best work rate in the game and was even applauded by Odei after the game for his performance on the wings. He covered the most distance in the game and made the most sprints. The winger continuously troubled Odei and Akash Mishra with his cheeky skills. Overall, Boris had a blazing performance with five dribbles on the night.
Daniel Chima Chukwu - 6.5
The Nigerian forward was cheeky with his hold-up play quite a times. Chima created one big chance for Jamshedpur FC but missed one as well when he headed an open header straight into the palms of Hyderabad keeper Laxmikant Kattimani.
Substitutes
Farukh Choudhury - 6.5
Farukh replaced injured Dinpuia in the midfield. He had 27 touches in the game and delivered 16 passes with a 69% accuracy. Farukh took over the set piece duties after JET was subbed off.
Muhammed Uvais - 6
The youngster was brought in for the last 15 minutes to replace an injured Dinliana. Uvais looked steady against Borja and other Hyderabad attackers.
Wellington Priori - 7
The Brazilian midfielder won four of his five duels in the limited minutes on the pitch. Welli also made three tackles and created a goal -coring chance.
Ishan Pandita - 6.5
Jamshedpur looked active in attack after Pandita was brought in for the last 15 minutes. The forward came close to scoring twice. Firstly, the goalkeeper committed a foul and received a tactical yellow card to deny him and then he missed the target while attempting a tough volley.
Hyderabad FC (By Uttiyo Sarkar)
Laxmikant Kattimani – N/R
The Hyderabad FC keeper had an eventful first 40 minutes or so against Jamshedpur. He saved a few threatening shots and almost failed to guide a header from Chukwu out of his goal, nearly scrambling it inside his goal-line. He suffered an injury towards the end of the half and was taken off.
Nikhil Poojary – 7.0
Nikhil did a pretty good job in keeping the dangerous Boris Singh at bay on his side, maintaining good positioning and discipline with his challenges. He made two tackles and five clearances, while also providing support in attack. He created one prominent chance which was wasted.
Chinglensana Singh – 7.5
The India international did a great job against the menacing duo of Harry Sawyer and Daniel Chima Chukwu. He was proactive in cutting out Hyderabad’s attacks and didn’t allow the forwards any freedom. Singh made four clearances and interceptions each and blocked three shots to help his side sustain a lot of pressure and come out on top.
Odei Onaindia – 7.0
Onaindia maintained a really sturdy backline to help his side get their fifth consecutive clean sheet. The Spaniard’s positioning and marking were great as he closed down spaces at the back with ease. He had a 93% passing accuracy, moved the ball forward well and made three key clearances too.
Akash Mishra – 7.5
Mishra was again a prominent figure on the left for his side, going up and down throughout the 90 minutes. He did well to frustrate Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and anyone else who took the right-wing spot, making four clearances, four interceptions, four tackles and three blocks in a rock-solid defensive outing.
Joao Victor – 6.5
Victor ensured that his side was able to control the game with ease and did not end up in trouble at the back. He had an 83% passing accuracy with over 50 passes and also made two interceptions, being a reliable figure again in the middle.
Hitesh Sharma – 6.5
Hitesh worked his socks off for Manolo Marquez’s side, covering a lot of ground to frustrate the hosts. He made three tackles and a block, as well as moving the ball forward well with an 84% passing accuracy – producing another solid performance in midfield.
Mohammed Yasir – 8.0
Yasir buzzed around like a bee in the front line and tormented the Jamshedpur defenders with his unpredictable movement. He won the game for his side with an exquisite hit past Rehenesh, leaving him rooted to his post. Yasir created some chances with his crosses and inviting set-pieces, while also contributing defensively with two tackles and a block.
Halicharan Narzary – 6.5
Narzary made himself a real nuisance with his movement and pace on the left, often getting past defenders and into promising areas. He helped set up the goal with a nice cross that was cleared away for Yasir to score. Hali created two prominent chances and his crosses were really troubling too.
Javier Saverio – 3
The young forward made no impact whatsoever. He was hassled by Peter Hartley and failed to test the opposition goalkeeper. He made only seven passes with a 59% accuracy and was taken off at half-time.
Bartholomew Ogbeche – 4.5
Ogbeche had a frustrating outing at the Furnace and was never really able to impose himself in the final third. He did get a number of chances, but either hit the efforts well wide of the target or into Rehenesh’s arms. He looked annoyed to not be in his element and was taken off towards the end.
Substitues
Anuj Kumar – 5.5
The ex-Indian Arrows goalkeeper made his ISL debut by replacing the injured Kattimani. Kumar made a few solid fouls, but almost shot himself in the foot by scrambling a simple ball and handling it outside the box. Luckily he was only shown a yellow card for that.
Borja Herrera – 6.5
Borja raised the creativity factor for Hyderabad after coming on and added an extra body in midfield by replacing Siverio. He created some nice chances with his set-pieces and helped his side pose a major attacking threat after a brittle first half.
Sahil Tavora – 6.0
Tavora was brought on to help his side see out the win and keep their clean sheet. He did exactly that with minimal problems.
Joel Chianese – N/A
Chianese gave his side a shot of energy in the late minutes and helped them see out the win.
Aaren D’Silva – N/A
He barely got involved in the late minutes.
