Bayern Munich predicted lineup for 2023-24 season
Thomas Tuchel has a full season to prepare and make an impact
Bayern Munich snatched the 2022-23 Bundesliga crown away from Borussia Dortmund in the dying moments of the 2022-23 season, but that success hasn’t dampened their desire to strengthen this summer. They have already signed players to strengthen their squad.
In an effort to bring Champions League silverware back to the Allianz arena, they have committed to an ambitious recruitment programme. Tuchel’s men will be a match for any side on the planet after signing Sabitzer, Kim, Guerrero and Laimer this transfer window.
After securing the players they wanted, this is how their lineup could look like this coming season:
Goalkeeper- Manuel Neuer
The German international has been the shot stopper for the Bundesliga champions for years now and is one of the most respected goalkeepers ever in the world of football. Even though he missed some part of the last season due to the injuries, he will look to prove a point in the 2023-24 season. Exceptional reflexes is the main attribute of Manuel Neuer which has kept him in the list of the best goalkeepers to ever play the game.
Left-back- Alphonso Davies
The Canadian will have a competition at his position the coming season. After securing Guerrero from their arch-rivals Dortmund this season, Bayern will have a tough choice to make at the left-back position. But, due to the skillset that he possesses, Davies will make his way ahead of the Portuguese and will have to prove himself before he gets replaced.
Centre-back- Matthijs de Ligt
De Ligt was arguably Bayern’s player of the season last term following his summer switch from Juventus. He will be nailed on in central defense, especially with Kim’s signing this summer, Bavarians defense looks unstoppable and a duo to watch out for this season. Bayern have their main man in De Ligt, he is somebody who will look to guide the attack from the back for Bayern in the upcoming season.
Centre-back- Kim Min-jae
Even though Upamecano was the defensive partner with De Ligt last season, he was the starter for the club for most of the games but Upamecano’s struggles continued which led Bayern to move in for a centre-back. Kim was the integral part of Napoli’s squad in their Serie A title win, he was the best centre-back in the league without a doubt, he will look to keep that form in Bundesliga as well.
Right-back- Benjamin Pavard
As we approach the deadline day of summer transfer window, there is still speculation that the Frenchman could be on the move. It is uncertain, but one thing is for sure, Pavard has cemented his place at the position for the Bundesliga champions. Despite winning the 2018 World Cup as a right-back, he has often stressed his desire to play centrally which is impossible with the centre-back positions secured by the Korean and the Dutchman.

He is incredibly aggressive on the ball, challenges opponents very hard and brings established professionals to the ground, he knows exactly what he wants on the football field. He will have to prove a point to be a consistent part of Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Centre-midfield- Joshua Kimmich
Widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, Kimmich is known for his versatility, aggression, and playmaking ability. He might be the only man in the modern game to rank as conceivably the world’s best player in two different positions- centre mid and right back. Kimmich captained the side after Neuer suffered an injury, he has since ended every season as a Bundesliga champion with Bayern.
Centre-attacking midfield- Jamal Musiala
Jamal Musiala has made a big impression for Bayern Munich and Germany, and despite only just turning 20, is already a superstar in the making. Talking about him being the superstar already, he scored the winning goal that helped Bayern claim the Bundesliga title again on the final day of Bundesliga. He became the youngest Bayern player to reach 100 competitive games last season.
Left-wing- Leroy Sane
Leroy Sane already knows he needs to be performing better for Bayern Munich, and he has already admitted such as the team prepares for the 2023-24 campaign and he recently rejected a move to PSG which forced PSG to sign Dembele. Sane wants to play under Thomas Tuchel as he believes he is the right man for his development and the club’s success in future.
Striker- Harry Kane
The England international is 47 goals away from breaking Alan Shearer’s record of the most goals scored in the Premier League, has never won a major trophy in his career. After three bids from the Bavarians, Bayern have agreed terms with Tottenham to sign the striker.
Bayern are missing the final piece in their lineup, the striker position has never been the same since Lewandowski left. Finally, Bayern will have a proper number 9 player in their squad. With all the pieces aligned, Bayern along with Kane will look to win more trophies individually and collectively.
Right-wing- Kingsley Coman
Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman has become a true domestic championship winner, winning every trophy possible. He has 12 league titles in 12 seasons of football that he has played, he has the talent and the potential to do great things for the club. The 2023-24 season is going to be another season where he will look to win another trophy.
