Borussia Dortmund set to sign Niclas Füllkrug from Werder Bremen

The German striker is set to join BVB
Niclas Füllkrug is set to join Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund and Füllkrug have agreed to a three-year deal worth 6 million per season, and Fabrizio Romano claims that the deal is now completed.
The striker will undergo a medical test later today and will be announced Dortmund centre-forward officially in the coming days.
Füllkrug could be making his BVB debut as soon as tomorrow facing Heidenheim if the agreement is finalised today.
The prolific striker finished the last campaign with 16 goals and shared the Golden Boot with Christopher Nkunku who has also produced the same amount of goals.

According to reports, Werder Bremen will get a price tag for the transfer of around 15 million euros. Füllkrug could potentially make his Borussia Dortmund bow on Friday when they play on Heidenheim in the Bundesliga once the deal becomes legal as early as Thursday.
Borussia Dortmund made the choice to add Füllkrug as they sought to improve their attacking capabilities. Because he will be representing the Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations, Sebastien Haller is going to have to miss certain matches in January.
Füllkrug was rumoured to be moving to Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt, however, he is currently headed to Borussia Dortmund.
For a place in the starting lineup at the front at Borussia Dortmund, Füllkrug will have competition from Sebastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko.
It would be intriguing to observe if Edin Terzic’s season-long tactical intentions change as a result of the big striker’s arrival.
