Fantasy Premier League 2023-24: How to play FPL Draft
What is FPL draft?
FPL draft is a take on the most popular fantasy football game officially run by the Premier League. However, there is one major twist in this format. FPL draft does not have the concept of players prices and team budgets. In FPL draft 2023-24, each manager in a league will get to pick a 15-member squad using a draft system. And each player can only be selected by one manager.
What are the different kinds of leagues?
FPL draft 2023-24 has two types of league ranking systems, namely-
- Classic scoring
Your points are determined throughout the start of the game week. At the end of the game week, everyone’s points are added to make up a leader board. The person with the most points on the leader board will be the topper of your league.
- Head-to-Head scoring
In this format, there is a fixture between you and each of the managers in your league, the manager with the most GW points will be awarded three points and a draw will result in each manager being awarded one point each.
This format provides an extra edge of rivalry between you and other managers in your league, as well as the added dimension that you only need to have more game week than one other manager to gain three points.

What is draft time?
The time of your draft is determined by the league administrator. This refers to the time each manager has to pick their players.
For example, if the draft time is set to 90 seconds then you will have 90 seconds to select your player when it is your turn. If you don’t select a player within the time limit, the highest ranked available player on your watchlist will be automatically selected.
When will the draft tale place?
The time of your draft is decided by the league administrator. It is best to agree upon a common start time with all the managers in the league so that everyone is available
The draft begins on the start time that your league admin selects. This is also when you find out the draft order for your league.
If your draft is to start at 2:00pm, then you will find out whether you have 1st, 2nd, 3rd pick at 2:00pm.
