I-League: Jackichand Singh set to sign for Inter Kashi

I-League debutant Inter Kashi FC is set to sign veteran winger Jackichand Singh, Khel Now can confirm. The 31-year-old has rich experience playing for many ISL clubs which includes FC Goa, Mumbai City FC, Jamshedpur FC, Kerala Blasters etc.

The 160 cm tall Manipuri winger is currently a free agent and is expected to move to the I-League as the talks develop. Jackichand last featured for East Bengal FC in the Indian Super League.

About the Player

Jackichand Singh was born on March 17, 1992, in Manipur, India. Jackichand made his professional debut for Royal Wahingdoh, then in the I-League 2nd Division in 2011. 

Jackichand Singh's career took a major turn when he was picked up by Pune City FC in 2015. He made his debut against Delhi Dynamos on 14 October 2015. In 2016, Jackichand was loaned out to Salgaocar in the I-League. 

In the following years, Jackichand made his appearances for other ISL clubs such as Mumbai City FC, Kerala Blasters FC, etc. His career elevated steeply while playing for FC Goa in 2018. He became an integral part of the squad and a flashing presence in the wings for Goa. He made 44 appearances for Goa scoring 9 goals and assisting 7 times. 

Jackichand Singh made a switch to Jamshedpur FC in 2020. He assisted on his debut against Chennaiyin in a 2–1 loss on 24 November 2020. He played for Mumbai City and East Bengal FC in the following years.
