Claudio Echeverri’s River Plate contract includes €25m release clause

Claudio Echeverri scored a hattrick in the FIFA U-17 World Cup against Brazil
Claudio Echeverri, an Argentine star, has a €25 million release option. Argentina defeated Brazil 3-0 in the FIFA U17 World Cup quarterfinal on Friday, with captain Claudio Echeverri scoring a hat-trick. Germany will be its opponent in the semifinals.
With five goals, Echeverri tied teammate Augustin Roberto for the tournament’s best scorer.
Echeverry has made four starts for the Buenos Aires side and plays professional football for the River Plate club in Argentina. At the senior level, he still hasn’t scored a goal.
Echeverri, who was born in Resistencia, Chaco Region, began his sporting life with Deportivo Luján. At the end of 2016, he had an audition with River Plate, and the following year, he signed a formal contract.
He became well-known after he and River gave a remarkable performance at a kids’ competition in Venice, Italy. He tallied nine goals in six games, but his club finished third.

After the game, he declared, “The truth is that we are not happy [finishing third], we wanted to be champions.”
He netted in his River second club debut in October 2022 against Patronato, and in December of the same year, he inked a professional deal with the club.
As any aspiring Argentine football player would, Echeverri naturally finds inspiration in the game’s finest players as well as in his own countryman.
The distinction is that you get a chill from watching Echeverri. With an armband on, the number 10 on his shoulder, and the ability to deceive goalkeepers and turn defenders inside out, he has the capacity to perform the incredible feats that Messi constructed his professional life out of at an alarmingly young age. Brazil experienced the full impact of it.
Oh my god. He’s made an appearance in the Hall of Fame seem incredibly ordinary. The child understands.
In addition to a ludicrous hat-trick that would have fit right in with Messi’s goal repertoire, Echeverri scored 11 successful duels, 7/10 completed dribbles, 14/15 completed passes, and 7 crosses.
