Eberechi Eze close to signing massive £100,000 per week deal at Crystal Palace

Many clubs were after Eberechi Eze in the summer

After coming to a preliminary understanding with Crystal Palace over new terms, Eberechi Eze is almost certain to ink a new deal with the team.

After recovering fully from a hamstring injury, the England international was reportedly in negotiations for a new contract for a few weeks.

All that remains to be done is the formalities to complete the deal. Although Eze still has 18 months remaining on his current contract, the extension relieves Palace of some of the short-term strain over their star forward’s situation.

According to the agreement, Eberechi Eze will probably make about £100,000 every week.

However, coming into next summer, a number of the Premier League’s best teams are probably going to show a lot of interest in Eze.

In the last transfer window, Manchester City was on the verge of bidding for Eze; however, they decided to purchase Mateus Nunes from Wolves instead.

Tottenham and Newcastle are the two teams keeping an eye on 25-year-old Eze ahead of next summer.

Before the 2024–25 season, there will likely be a lot of interest in Eze once more. This will be especially true if it turns out that the contract has any terms allowing for his release if certain conditions are met.

However, for the time being, Eze’s outstanding contract puts an end to any thoughts of him departing in January in what is a crucial matter for Palace.
