Ed Woodward finds new job after Manchester United exit

Ed Woodward is set to join sports firm Sentient Sports
Eighteen months after leaving Old Trafford, former Manchester United CEO Ed Woodward has already secured his next position.
During his ten-year tenure at Manchester United between 2012 and 2022, Ed Woodward was a controversial figure. Supporters frequently criticised his choices in player acquisition and charged him with putting the team’s off-field success less important than its on-field performance.
The 52-year-old is getting ready for a new chapter in his life after announcing that he will be joining the artificial intelligence sports company Sentient Sports in April 2022.
Woodward has joined the organisation as a Non-Executive Board Member and Strategic Advisor. The company’s mission is to change sports by utilising artificial intelligence (AI) to generate content and data.
He described the company as having “tremendous potential” and described the owner as a “cutting edge” person in sports.
