Roony Bardghji scored late winner to steer Copenhagen to a 4-3 win over Manchester United.
Just a few days after Roony Bardghji’s late winner hurt Manchester United’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League knockouts, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is thinking about attempting to buy the wonderkid from Copenhagen.
In midweek, Roony Bardghji, who celebrates his 18th birthday on Wednesday, scored the late winner for the Danish team against Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils after coming off from the bench.
The teenage sensation has drawn interest from clubs throughout the continent, with German, French, and Spanish teams as well as Premier League teams rumoured to be pursuing the Swedish U-21 midfielder.

According to The Sun, Ratcliffe’s Ligue 1 team Nice is among those eager to try and sign Bardghji. This is happening at the same time that the British billionaire is about to buy a quarter of Manchester United and take over the football operations at Old Trafford.
In 2019, Ratcliffe’s INEOS group acquired Nice from Chinese-American businessman Chien Lee, just two years since Lausanne-Sport was acquired.
Chelsea, Crystal Palace, and Newcastle United are Premier League teams that are keeping an eye on Bardghji and may make offers.
Several top European teams, including Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Ajax, have dispatched recruiters to Copenhagen to observe the young talent.
Copenhagen, who currently sit second in the Champions League’s group standings with three points from four games, will likely look to offload players in the summer, particularly if they advance to the Champions League knockout stage.
With 11 goals in 24 games so far this season, Roony Bardghji is worth approximately 100 million kroner (£7.3 million). However, after he becomes 18, he may negotiate a better deal with Copenhagen.
