List of AIFF accredited ‘Elite Category’ academies for 2023-24 season

A total of 32 clubs from various state member associations of the AIFF have been given accreditation.

With “Vision 2047” in mind, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) has announced the result of AIFF ‘Elite Category’ Academy Accreditation results. A total of 32 clubs from various state member associations of the AIFF have been given the honor.Multiple clubs from Western India Football Association, Karnataka State Football Association, Punjab Football Association, & Tamil Nadu Football Association have acquired the status. 

Academies of various football clubs from different divisions of the country’s footballing structure have successfully received “3-star” rating as AIFF accredited ‘Elite Category’ Academies. Various ISL clubs like Bengaluru FC, Jamshedpur FC, Punjab FC, Hyderabad FC & I-League clubs like Sudeva Delhi, Sreenidi Deccan, & Rajasthan United FC have successfully acquired the status. 

AIFF has thanked the member associations for their support towards the ongoing programmes of AIFF. The federation has also made it clear in an open letter that only the Elite Academies can play in the AIFF Youth League along with the youth league teams of I-League & ISL clubs. 

AIFF have also stated that Member Associations & State Youth League who have missed entry in this season AIFF Youth League may compete leagues by May 31, 2024 & nominate champions for the 2024-25 AIFF Youth League.

About Vision 2047

On January 7, 2023 the All India Football Federation unveiled ‘Vision 2047’, a strategic plan to create India as a new powerhouse of Asian football. It is a project which is segmented into six four-year strategic plans. 

The plan aims to implement grassroot programmes to reach 35 million children across the nation, register 1 million players & provide football education to 25 million children through Football for Schools.
