Mohamed Salah also scored 150 Premier League goals

Liverpool’s Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah is breaking records at Liverpool. Recently, he scored his 200th goal in a Liverpool shirt.

The Reds were trailing 1-0 against Crystal Palace in the second half. A red card for Jordan Ayew opened the doors for Jurgen Klopp’s men. Salah took a shot from the edge of the penalty box. Luck was on his side as the shot was deflected and found the back of the net.

It took Mo Salah 327 appearances in Liverpool colours to score his 200th goal. This was also his 150th goal in the Premier League in his 247th appearance. Salah has netted 148 league goals for the Reds and two for Chelsea.

Salah is just the fourth player to score 200 goals for Liverpool, joining Ian Rush, who scored 346, Roger Hunt, who finished his career with 285, Gordon Hodgson, 241, and Billy Liddell with 228. Salah is also now the joint-10th top scorer in Premier League history, alongside Michael Owen, who reached the figure with 326 appearances.

Liverpool managed to make a comeback against Crystal Palace in their match at Selhurst Park. Salah’s goal was followed by Harvey Elliott’s strike and Klopp’s men won three points. The young Englishman netted his second goal in the English top division.

Mo Salah joined the Merseyside club from Roma in 2017. He won the league title in 2019-20 and the UEFA Champions League in the 2018-19 season. Salah is the most feared player in Liverpool’s line-up.

Jurgen Klopp’s team sits at the top of the table after 16 games. Arsenal are one point behind them and have a game in hand. The Reds also ended their poor away run of three draws and one defeat.
