Argentina are defending Champions
It looks like one of the most memorable international football competitions in recent memory will be the 2024 Copa America. Several CONCACAF countries will play alongside CONMEBOL teams, which was additionally the situation at the 2016 Copa America Centenario.
The groups have been revealed half a month before the competition begins. From June 20 to July 14, the United States will host the Copa America.
The 2024 Copa America draw is now official, featuring the USA serving as this year’s host nation for the prestigious competition. Argentina, the defending champions, are hoping to add to their 2022 FIFA World Cup victory and win back-to-back titles, while Concacaf teams hope to take advantage of their group stage debut this year.

In the Concacaf playoff, the champion between Canada and Trinidad & Tobago will face La Albiceleste and Lionel Messi in the opening game of the tournament at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Their group phase match ends on June 29 in Miami against Peru, marking a sort of return home for the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Gregg Berhalter was pleased with the USMNT’s draw, which included a quality team in Uruguay to put his team to the examination, an old Concacaf foe in Panama, and a CONMEBOL minnow in Bolivia. The Concacaf playoff winner between Honduras and Costa Rica, as well as Colombia and Paraguay, will stand in the path of Brazil, making the test difficult.
