Copa America 2024: List of all host cities

USA will host the Copa America 2024
CONMBOL has revealed the 14 host cities/stadiums as well as the entire schedule of matches for the Copa America 2024, which takes place from June 20 to July 14 across the United States.
32 matches from 16 participating countries—10 from South America and 6 Concacaf qualifiers—will be contested in the competition. In addition, a few of the locations will host FIFA World Cup games in 2026.
Out of the 14 MLS venues, five will host games, with Mercedes-Benz Stadium home to Atlanta United hosting the opening match. The following is a list of venues, with MLS venues bolded:
Organising the last three South American editions of the Copa América has presented challenges for CONMEBOL. Due to Brazil’s previous hosting of the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics, Chile was chosen as the 2015 host country instead of Brazil.
The 2020 edition was originally scheduled to be co-hosted by Colombia and Argentina, but the COVID-19 epidemic caused it to be postponed one year. The following year, after widespread protests, Colombia withdrew as co-host, and shortly after, Argentina did the same as the nation struggled with a large number of Covid cases.
In the end, the competition was shifted to Brazil and conducted in secret.
Following the US’s takeover of organising duties from Ecuador, the host country has changed for the third consecutive season.
However, the USA will surely benefit much from hosting the 2024 Copa América as they prepare to share hosting of the 2026 World Cup with Canada and Mexico.
Football is still occasionally played in the background in this nation, behind the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL, but a good tournament for the US Men’s National Team might significantly increase interest in the sport before 2026.
When combined with Lionel Messi’s entrance at Inter Miami, which has attracted attention from all over the world and led to increases in attendance and ticket sales, the 2024 Copa América may wind up serving as a kind of prelude for both organisers and spectators.
