The Brave Warriors are in Group E with Tunisia, South Africa and Mali

Namibia coach Collin Benjamin has named 28 players likely to represent the Brave Warriors at the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Cote d’Ivoire 2023.

The Namibian team finds itself in Group E alongside South Africa, Tunisia and Mali.

Where is the 2023 AFCON?

Ivory Coast, whose candidature to host the 2021 tournament had defeated that of Guinea, Zambia, and Algeria, will host the Africa Cup of Nations in 2023.

Cameroon was deemed unprepared to host the 2019 event as scheduled, therefore that was pushed back by two years, with the country hosting the 2021 tournament in its place.

Originally scheduled for June and July, the finals were moved to January and February of 2024 because those dates would have overlapped with the height of Ivory Coast’s rainfall season.
