Three players with 10+ goals & 10+ assists in Premier League in 2023
Three left-footed players have dominated the Premier League this year
The 21st century has produced a plethora of prolific goal-scorers who have scored goals galore in the biggest of competitions for club and country and have won multiple trophies. Even when they do not find the back of the net, these players present a credible threat to opponents in the attacking third because of their ability to conjure goal-scoring opportunities for teammates.
Over the last 15 years, Lionel Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo have normalized the art of scoring and assisting goals consistently throughout a season. However, scoring more than 10 goals and providing more than 10 assists in a single season is quite a feat. On that note, let’s look at the players with 10+ goals & 10+ assists so far in the Premier League in 2023:
Mohamed Salah
Salah is predominantly known for his speed, movement, clinical finishing, agility, dribbling skills, first touch, and ball control, as well as his ability to use his pace and flair on the ball to beat opponents and create scoring opportunities for himself or his teammates.
A versatile forward, he primarily plays as a winger on the right flank, which allows him to cut into the centre onto his stronger left foot, and either shoot on goal or play quick exchanges with other players and make runs in behind the defence towards goal. He can also play in the centre behind the main striker as either an attacking midfielder or second striker. In this season he has scored ten goals and provided five assists.

Bukayo Saka
Saka is a real creative force, capable of getting into dangerous positions and playing killer final balls. He has brilliant close control and dribbling ability and, when he isolates an opponent, he uses stepovers to draw defenders’ eyes towards the ball before quickly pushing it to one side. When he is playing on the right, he comes infield and is extremely dangerous when playing chipped balls or crosses towards the back post.
He is not only important for his club Arsenal but also his national team. Both managers Mikel Arteta and Gareth Southgate like him and very much appreciate him as a player. He is in fine form and will be very crucial for the club.
Bryan Mbeumo
Bryan Mbeumo has continued to evade plaudits despite an impressive rise from Ligue 2 to the Premier League. Mbeumo has been a vital cog in Brentford’s ascension to the top of the English game since he arrived from Troyes in 2019. Despite his stocky frame, Mbeumo possesses great agility with the ball at his feet, able to wriggle away from challenges before darting into space, he allows Brentford to be mobile both in and out of possession. His performance has helped the Bees to succeed in the league and he is and will be a key player for them.
