Umer Meler was beaten by the President of Ankaragucu

Mehmet Büyükekşi, head of the Turkish Football Federation, has confirmed that all leagues in Turkey have been suspended eternally.

This is because of today’s vicious attack on official Halil Umut Meler. Additionally, Mehmet Buyukeksi, the head of the Turkish Football Federation, has stated that all domestic league games have been delayed permanently.

The shameful occurrence happened on Monday after Ankaragucu and Rizespor drew 1-1 in the Turkish Super Lig, the premier division in the nation. In just 14 minutes, Olimpiu Morutan broke the tie for the home team. Adolfo Gaich equalised late in the game, but Rizespor secured a point.

Two red cards were also shown in the ill-tempered match; Ali Sowe of Ankaragucu and Emirhan Topcu of Rizespor were both given the boot.

But after the game, Ankaragucu president Faruk Koca attacked referee Halil Umut Meler, causing further turmoil.

He may be seen swinging and hitting the unwary official in the explosive footage.

After being struck, Meler went to the ground, whereupon he was kicked indecently by an unknown individual while he attempted to shield his face.

After several players, coaches, and security personnel hurried to the situation to halt the attack, Meler—who was shaken—was eventually assisted in getting to his feet.

There was also a large black eye visible as he left the pitch, and different media sources said that he was taken to the hospital for treatment of his wounds.

The Turkish Football Federation called an emergency meeting right away and declared an immediate nationwide suspension of football.

Osman Askin Bak, Turkey’s Minister of Youth and Sport, has denounced the heinous act. On his social media assault, a post said:

“We do not want to see these images on our fields, which do not suit the spirit of sports and Turkish football.”
