Real Madrid are set to play their first match of the year against Mallorca in the LaLiga. The Los Blancos are sitting at the top of the table.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side is sitting at the top but they have struggled with injury. Most of the first-choice defenders are sitting out and there are a lot of concerns.
Here is Real Madrid injury update ahead of their first match in 2024.
Eder Militao
Militao underwent surgery on the serious knee injury that he suffered in the team’s season opener, and the defender will be unavailable for selection for at least another three months.
Thibaut Courtois
Courtois also underwent an operation on an ACL injury earlier this season, and the club’s number one is currently stepping up his rehabilitation ahead of a potential return before the end of the campaign.
David Alaba
Alaba also suffered an ACL injury against Villarreal on December 17, and the Austria international will miss the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.
Arda Guler
Guler, who is yet to make his Real Madrid debut, recently suffered a fresh fitness setback, but the attacker is back in full training with the club and has a chance of being involved in this match.

Ferland Mendy
Real Madrid are sweating over the fitness of Mendy, with the defender missing out against Alaves before the winter break due to a muscular problem.
