10-man Guinea earn crucial point against Cameroon in AFCON 2023

Senegal are the only team with a win in AFCON 2023 Group C
Cameroon were held to a 1-1 draw by 10 men from Guinea in their opening match of Group C in AFCON 2023. Rigobert Song’s side missed a glorious chance to convert a single point into three points.
Cameroon started the match without Manchester United’s No. 1, Andre Onana. The goalkeeper made it to the stadium on time but was not a part of the squad that faced Guinea.
Guinea made a perfect start to their AFCON campaign after scoring inside the first 10 minutes of the match. Mohamed Bayo of Le Havre opened the scoring for his side. The first half remained tight and only one goal was scored. However, Guinea received a huge setback when Francois Kamano was shown a red card towards the end of the half. His card was upgraded from yellow to red after a VAR check.
The Indomitable Lions took full advantage of 10 men and scored the equaliser within the first 10 minutes into the second half. Toulouse forward Francois Kamano opened the scoring for Cameroon. Rigobert Song’s team took control of the game and created more chances.
