This ISL Gameweek gifted fans some beautiful goals.
The Gameweek 14 of the Indian Super League (ISL) saw 10 clubs vying against each other for three crucial points. It all began with Odisha FC‘s 3-0 demolition over Hyderabad FC followed by Bengaluru FC finally getting back to winning ways and so on.
We just saw two draws this week while the other four games produced nail-biting moments. 15 goals were scored across six matches in this week. On that note, let us take a look at the talking points from Gameweek 14 of the Indian top flight.
3. Hyderabad FC field an all Indian line-up against Mohun Bagan

The happenings in and around Hyderabad FC are well known to everyone in the Indian football fraternity. They are undergoing a massive crisis both on and off the field as both players and staff have started moving out of the side midway through the season.
Despite all the hardships, the silver lining to their cloud was their courageous decision to field an all Indian XI against the defending champions. And by doing so they gave their young players a chance to taste top flight football which will certainly help them move forward.
2. FC Goa and Odisha FC share spoils in a ‘top of the table’ clash

All roads led to the Kalinga stadium in Bhubaneswar as the top two sides of the ISL faced off against each other. It was undoubtedly a very highly staked fixture for both sides because a single mistake would have cost them heavily.
However, the sides played out a 1-1 draw and added one point each to their tallies. Odisha FC scored first after Roy Krishna found the back of the net in the fourth minute. Jay Gupta brought on the equalizer in the 37th minute. Good news for the Gaurs – FC Goa remain the only undefeated side so far in this ISL season.
1. NorthEast United settle scores with East Bengal

The NorthEast United vs East Bengal fixture is brewing up a new rivalry in the eastern region of the country. Prior to this game, the Highlanders had lost both their games against the Red & Golds this season. This included the Durand Cup semi-final and the ISL first-leg clash. Moreover, a lot of off-field incidents added more fuel to the fire.
The Highlanders were ever so motivated to go all out and take revenge from the Kolkata side after the humiliation and heart-break that they were put through. And that is exactly what happened. NorthEast United pulled off a fantastic 3-2 win over East Bengal as their latest import Tomi Juric, and Nestor Albiach registered their names on the scoresheet.
