The resumption of the league was full of exciting individual performances.

Indian Super League’s (ISL) return was highly anticipated after the premier league competition of India took a backseat to the 2024 Super Cup. Following the conclusion of gameweek 13 of the 2023-24 season, the fans cannot wait for the upcoming games after witnessing high-octane action across the fixtures.

Domestic and foreign players were raring to leave a mark on the proceedings and did so in style in the past round of fixtures. While many fan favourites hogged the headlines, there were notable performances from the lesser-known entities also.

As the curtain drops on another exciting round of fixtures of the Indian Super League, here is a look at the best-performing individuals that made Khel Now’s Team of the Week 13:

Formation – 3-5-2

GK – Amrinder Singh (Odisha FC)

Amrinder Singh made five saves out of which three were from inside the box in Odisha FC’s 2-1 win over Kerala Blasters FC. The skipper made a key contribution and his performance was vital which allowed the Kalinga Warriors to make a successful comeback in the high-stakes fixture.

Provat Lakra had a successful week in both games for Jamshedpur FC. He was the pick of defenders in the club’s 1-1 draw with NorthEast United where he made three clearances and four interceptions. Later, in the away win over the Islanders, Lakra defended astutely, making five clearances.

CB – Narender Gahlot (Odisha FC)

Narender Gahlot showed immaculate composure on the ball in Odisha’s win over Kerala Blasters FC. The centre-back completed 89% of his passes and won 100% of his duels during the game.

LCB – Jay Gupta (FC Goa)

Jay Gupta’s emergence into one of the key players for FC Goa has been one of the highlights of the season. The full-back once again bossed the opposition, helped keep a clean sheet and secured an assist for the Gaurs.

CM – Brandon Fernandes (FC Goa)

Brandon Fernandes made a huge impact for FC Goa in their 2-0 win over Hyderabad FC. The skipper dominated the midfield and secured an assist for his efforts. He made 15 crosses in the match and also had two shots on target.

CM – Jeremy Manzorro (Jamshedpur FC)

Jeremy Manzorro is making a strong case for being the most impactful foreigner this season. The midfielder scored a brace in Jamshedpur FC’s impressive 2-3 win over Mumbai City FC away from home which included scoring a late penalty under immense pressure.

RW – Ajay Chhetri (East Bengal FC)

Ajay Chhetri scored a memorable goal in the third minute in the Kolkata derby for East Bengal, helping them secure a point courtesy of a 2-2 draw with Mohun Bagan SG. It was his first goal for the Red & Gold Brigade and what a brilliant occasion to open the account.

LW – Imran Khan (Jamshedpur FC)

Imran Khan scored in both of Jamshedpur FC’s matches in game week 13 in the ISL 2023-24. The winger bagged a goal each against NorthEast United in a 1-1 draw and Mumbai City FC in a 2-3 away win. The Men of Steel will be hoping that his injury is not serious enough to sideline him for a long period.

CAM – Madih Talal (Punjab FC)

Madih Talal delivered another mesmerising performance in the Indian Super League, helping Punjab FC record an impressive 3-1 win over Bengaluru FC. The midfielder scored one goal and provided an assist in a scintillating display.

ST – Roy Krishna (Odisha FC)

Roy Krishna scored both of Odisha FC’s goals in their fabulous comeback win against Kerala Blasters FC. The striker showed immense determination to get his side back into the game and led by example. He has accumulated nine goals this season, the most for any player in the league.
