Group winners will face unseeded teams in the Europa League

The UEFA Europa League 2023-24 has taken shape after the qualifiers, and 16 teams have secured their place in the next round of the competition. Liverpool, Brighton, Bayer Leverkusen and Rangers are some of the clubs all set to compete for the trophy.

Rangers, West Ham, Brighton, and Liverpool are the teams drawn for the Europa League, which begins at 11:00 GMT.

Due to their seeds, all five clubs are scheduled to play their first leg away on Thursday, March 7, and their second leg at home on March 14. At the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, the eight group-stage champions and the eight knockout round play-off finalists of each tournament are featured in the two last-16 draws.

UEFA Europa League 2023-24 – key dates

All those teams who won their groups in the Europa League were exempt from the play-off round, which was concluded on Thursday evening.

Thus, those squads will face the eight unseeded teams that advanced through the playoffs in their respective last-16 draws as the seeded teams.

The first leg of the match will take place at home for the unseeded teams on March 7, with the seeded clubs hosting the second leg on March 14, one week later.
