Gary Smith’s side thrashed Dominican outfit Moca FC 7-0 on aggregate in the First Round of the CONCACAF Champions Cup to set up this Round of 16 tie with Lionel Messi‘s Inter Miami.

Inter Miami, on the other hand, have already played three regular season games. They opened the 2024 MLS season against Real Salt Lake with a 2-0 win. Later an away trip saw them draw 1-1 against LA Galaxy. Last game, the Herons showed their full potential with star players in the rank. Gerardo Martino’s side thrashed rivals Orlando City 5-0. Now they will face Nashville in the first leg of the Round of 16 CONCACAF Champions Cup against whom they had also won the 2023 Leagues Cup final.
