Only two academies have received five-star accreditation from AIFF
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has announced the Phase 1 results for its 2024-25 Academy Accreditation. Evaluated on key criteria, these ratings recognize academies that meet AIFF’s standards for youth development. This accreditation highlights the academies excelling in nurturing future football talent across India.
The academy of Indian football giants Bengaluru FC have been rated 5 stars. Academies of other Indian Super League clubs including Punjab FC, Mumbai City FC, Jamshedpur FC, NorthEast United FC, FC Goa, and Kerala Blasters were also given accreditation in Phase 1.

What about the clubs that were not accredited in Phase 1?
Following the Phase 1 results of the AIFF Academy Accreditation for 2024-25, AIFF has outlined the next steps for academies seeking a second chance. Academies that did not meet the required standards in Phase 1 will be invited to reapply in Phase 2, with AIFF encouraging them to address specific feedback for successful accreditation.
In addition, academies that missed the Phase 1 documentation deadline but paid the application fee will also be eligible to participate in Phase 2. A refund policy is in place for those opting out, and further details on Phase 2 timelines will be shared with the academies soon.
