The fixtures for the quarter-finals of the Durand Cup 2025 have been locked.

The Indian Football fans are up for a treat as the Durand Cup 2025 approaches the knockouts. The Quarter-final fixtures are out. The fixtures include some exciting matchups, including the biggest contest in Indian Football, the Kolkata Derby.

Earlier, eight teams made their way to the knockouts. Four ISL clubs, including East Bengal FC, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Jamshedpur FC, and Northeast United FC, topped their groups to seal the quarter-finals spot. They are joined by Shillong Lajong, Bodoland FC, Indian Navy FT, and Diamond Harbour FC.

Kolkata Derby in the Quarter-finals

The last quarter-final in this year’s Durand Cup will be a massive occasion as the arch-rivals from Kolkata, Mohun Bagan and East Bengal, will face each other. The most celebrated rivalry in Indian Football will see a new chapter unfold on August 17 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata. Both clubs topped their groups after an impressive group stage campaign.

This impressive run of form has ensured that both clubs will be at their absolute best. Interestingly, both sides have scored 12 goals in the three-match group stage, brightening the possibility of this contest being a goal fest.

Jamshedpur and Northeast United aim to make it to the semis

The other two ISL clubs, in Jamshedpur and Northeast United, also promise to go deep in the tournament. Northeast United FC will feature in the second quarter-final on the 16th of this month. The Highlanders will take on the thriving Bodoland FC, which has cruised through the group stage to make it to the knockouts. The SAI stadium in Kokrajhar will host this fixture as the crowd will witness the home team, Bodoland FC, in action.

Khalid Jamil-led Jamshedpur FC will lock horns with the newly promoted I League side Diamond Harbour FC in the third quarter-final on August 17. The match is set to take place in Jamshedpur as the Red Miners look to entertain the home crowd at the furnace and confirm their semi-final entry.

The quarter-final rounds will begin on August 16 with the clash between the hosts, Shillong Lajong, and the table toppers from Group F, Indian Navy FT. This encounter will kick off at 4 PM IST at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong. The I-League club will be determined to replicate last year’s heroics when they face East Bengal, aiming to progress to the semi-finals.

  • Quarter Final 4, August 17: Mohun Bagan Super Giant vs East Bengal FC, 7 PM IST (Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata)
