The Nizams play their next game against Odisha on 25th November at home.
Hyderabad FC staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Kerala Blasters FC with a 2-1 scoreline in a thrilling encounter at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi in the eighth game-week of the Indian Super League. It was Andrei Alba who proved to be the difference-maker scoring the equalizer and then converting a penalty to secure crucial all three points for Hyderabad FC.
Hyderabad FC now get an additional break of a couple of days followed by the upcoming international break. This period offers a golden opportunity for the players to rest and recover as they recharge and regroup for the remaining matches of the season.
Hyderabad FC head coach Thangboi Singto believes the international break will be beneficial for his team as it will give them much-needed rest and recovery.
Thangboi Singto on the international break
“This break came at the right time, I believe, because we played early. Today was the Second game of the eighth week, And now we have a break where the players can rest physically, There is also enough time at the moment for the players to rest mentally. And that is applicable for the staff too.
“And most of our boys who are native to Kerala will be staying back. And the others will be going back withthe few players who returned to Hyderabad because they joined a bit late. And we needto work on things, And with the foreigners coming in, Safa (Stefan Sapic), Alba, (Andrei Alba) Allan, (Allan Paulista), Cy Goddard, and now I think Edmilson (Edmilson Correia). He has just trained two days with us. But I just took a gamble in his case. So going forward, I think we have a lot of areas to improve,” the tactician asserted.
“But this break, like I said, is for all. And when you win, everybody’s happy. But we shouldnot forget that we’re still to compete with the top teams. Because we need to work much, much harder than where we are at the moment. So the effort will be all. But today is a day to be happy, smile. These three points are very, very good for us, but we need to keep working hard. And enjoy a little more tomorrow. So we keep going, but thanks to Manjappada, thanks to the crowd, thanks to Kochi, which has always been great for us. Overall A Great result for us. And for the few fans who came out to support, thank you very much,” he concluded
