The substituted assisted the only goal of the game after coming on in the second half.

Robbie Keane emerged as the hero at the Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday evening with his first goal in the Indian Super League as ATK registered their first win at home against Delhi Dynamos. Although, the hosts looked to be having some complications in the first half, they came back a different team in the second half as they displayed a superior gameplay. That resulted in marquee forward Robbie Keane scoring a late winner, assisted by Bipin Singh Thounaojam in the 78th minute. Let’s have a look at how the other Indian performed performed.

Debjit Majumder- 7.5

Nothing less than a knight in shining armor for ATK. The goalkeeper was criticized for his performances in the previous games, but Majumder’s performance against Dynamos put all of his critics to shame. A leader under the bars, the ATK shot-stopper made some brilliant decisions which kept his team in the game.

Prabir Das- 8.0

ATK’s resourceful full-back had an impressive night. The right-back was deployed as a sort of deputy behind Jayesh Rane and was instrumental in keeping ATK’s right-wing alive. Das put some delightful passes upfront for Hitesh Sharma and Keane. The 24-year-old defender also displayed a decent defensive performance as he made three clearances to hold the lines at the back, apprehending the visitors multiple times.

Anwar Ali- 8.0

The former Mumbai City defender was one of the few incognito heroes in the game. Although, he missed several games at the beginning of the league this year, Ali put in a brilliant defensive performance, often covering Ashutosh Mehta. A ball-playing centre-back, Ali recorded 78% passing accuracy which complemented his forte on the ball.

Ashutosh Mehta- 6.0

Although, one of the emerging full-backs in the country, Mehta had an interesting evening. He started the game in the left-back slot, but struggled to keep up with Romeo Fernandes’ pace. Although the former Mumbai City defender displayed a strong character dealing with Pritam Kotalunlike the Delhi full-back, he failed to go on successful overlapping runs. However, his 67% passing accuracy helped Zequinha to build up attacking runs, which disturbed the Dynamos’ backline greatly.

Hitesh Sharma- 6.5

Had a hard time against the Dynamos defenders. Although, tricky to get a hold on, the ATK midfielder was caught between Pratik Chowdhary and Rowlinson Rodriguez often.

As was Sharma’s problem in the earlier games this season, physicality became a huge factor for him against the capital side and he was fouled several times in the match which forcefully limited his impact. Despite, the limitations, Sharma linked up well with Rane and Das beautifully, which kept ATK in contention for at least one surprise goal by the trio.

Jayesh Rane- 6.0

It was a very strange outing by the former Mumbai FC forward. Rane started the match brightly but lost his rhythm as the game developed. The forward was marked very closely by Dynamos’ defender Chowdhary and was forced on multiple occasions to surrender the ball to the visitors. Rane’s struggles became visible in the second half, which forced the ATK gaffer Teddy Sheringham to replace him with resourceful forward Bipin Singh shortly after the hour mark.

Bipin Singh Thounaojam- 9.0

The Manipur-born player changed the course of the game as he came onto the pitch in the 69th minute. The move paid ruch dividends as his header found marquee star Keane in the 78th minute who scored the only goal in the match.

In only 25 minutes on the pitch, he recorded a staggering 75% pass completion rate, helping his side to prevail over the visitors. Known for his skills on the ball, he rejuvenated the ATK attack in the second half, which lands him the highest rating.

Keegan Pereira- 6.5

Pereira replaced Mehta in the 72nd minute of the game. As soon as he came in, he managed to neutralize the growing threat of Romeo on the wing, which helped the ATK defence to pull through the last 10 minutes wuthout conceding. Keegan also helped Zequinha to launch several counter-attacks and made a positive impact on the rearguard.

Shankar Sampingraj- NA

Replaced Zequinha in the 89th minute of the game. Didn’t make any impact on the match.

Delhi Dynamos

Arnab Das Sharma- 6.5

The replacement of injured Albino Gomes, Das Sharma played the majority of the game brightly. However, a momentary lapse in concentration resulted in the goalkeeper conceding the only goal of the match by ATK forward Keane. During the game, the 30-year-old made three saves and made a clearance. It was the custodian's efforts that denied the hosts many times during the match.

Pritam Kotal- 6.5

It was another leadering performance by the former ATK man. Kotal, who started the game in the right-back slot, was seen running up and down the wing, helping the forwards as well as taking part in the defensive duties. One of the better defenders of the visiting side, Kotal made three interceptions and six clearances.

Although, the Bengali defender looked sloppy at moments going on forward runs, his skill-set allowed him to supply Romeo and the other forwards adequate passes, which unfortunately did not produce results for his side.

Rowlinson Rodrigues- 6.0

Although, the defender started the game brightly, Rowlinson struggled towards the end of it. He was tasked with marking ATK forwards charging from their left wing, a job at which he excelled.

However, the defender struggled to mark Bipin Singh as Jayesh Rane made way for the pacy winger. As fatigue caught up with him, it became harder for the defender to keep doing his job.

Pratik Chowdhary- 7.0

The former Kerala Blasters defender put up an interesting performance against ATK on Saturday night. The 31-year-old was tasked with helping Rowlinson Rodrigues to ward off ATK forwards on the wing, where he dispossessed Sharma multiple times. The Dynamos defender made three interceptions on the evening along with five clearances, which speaks volume of his performance against the defending champions.

Munmun Lugun- 5.0

Arguably, the weakest link in the Delhi defence. Lugun could not stand up to the mark against the ATK forwards. He was caught out of the position several times, which resulted in the ATK forwards barging into the Dynamos box. The dying minutes of the first half saw his performance dipping further, which resulted in him being substituted at in the beginning of the second half by Sena Ralte.

Romeo Fernandes- (7.5)

The former FC Goa winger was one of the bright sparks for the Dynamos against ATK. Fernandes operated on the right wing, where Mehta had a hard time containing him. He also came close to scoring twice in the game. However, he was denied by ATK custodian Debjit Majumder at the end. Fernandes was instrumental in creating chances in the ATK box as he poured in five crosses from the wing.

Sena Ralte- 6.0

Replaced Lugun at the beginning of the second half. Although, an upgrade on Lugun, Ralte could not shape the Dynamos defence in a positive way. Similar to the man he replaced, Ralte was caught off guard several times in the game which resulted in the ATK forwards using the opportunity to go on forward runs.

The 29-year-old Mizo defender recorded a 59% passing accuracy in his time on the field. He also made two interceptions and a block, which helped his side not to concede more goals in the remaining time.

Lalrinzuala Chhangte- 5.5

Replaced Jeroen Lumu in the 71st minute of the game. As soon as he came in, Chhangte provided his side with the extra pace needed to make more creative and tactical forward runs. Although, he remained a high priority mark for the ATK defenders for the rest of the match and could not help his side score the equalizer.
