Full Time: FC Pune City 2-1 Atletico De Kolkata

FC Pune City win their first home game of the season after six attempts. They looked invigorated after the taking the lead. In the second half they doubled it and the game looked sealed. But Atletico made a valiant effort at a comeback lead by Iain Hume. Eventually, Pune run out 2-1 winners to take them off the foot of the table.

90+3′ Pune almost break forward. They still have a throw in in the opposition half.

90+1′ 4 added minutes. ATK completely on the front foot but still a goal behind.

90′ Free kick cleared but only for a corner. Lara to take. Fernandes’ attempt goes well over!

Pune find themselves ahead at home for the first time. Eduardo Ferreira, who scored the goal had a rollercoaster 10 minutes which eventually forced him to be taken off. Atletico need to find a new plan of attack as they’re attacks have been dealt with so far by Pune.

6:55 pm The players walk out to the centre for the Indian national anthem. It’s a Sunday evening and the crowd has come in a huge number to support the home team. FC Pune City would like to entertain them by playing some good football and break the deadlock at home.

6:45 pm Despite the team’s poor performances so far, the crowd continue to pour in to support the Pune side. It’s expected to be a near full crowd.

6:41 pm Pune have gone for a three man defence with Augustine Fernandez getting a start.

6:40 pm ATK meanwhile get Iain Hume back in the XI. He’ll play just behind Halder Postiga.
